5 Reasons You’re Not Manifesting Your Desires

One of the most common questions I get asked is, “Why am I not manifesting what I want?”

If you’re on this page, I have a pretty good idea of what you may be feeling right now. It’s frustrating and defeating when we pour our efforts into deliberately manifesting our desires and yet…nothing happens.

We’ve been waiting patiently for what feels like an eternity and there’s not even a hint of our desires showing up in our 3D world. In fact, for some it may appear that things are getting even worse after we begin to apply the Law to our lives.

So what gives?

Why Am I Not Manifesting?

As someone who’s been studying and applying how to manifest for over 10 years, trust me when I say I understand that frustration too well. It took a LOT of trial and error, hiccups, delays and learning curves to work out the kinks in how to manifest my desires.

Today, it’s second nature. If I desire something, I know it’s already mine and it appears. If something shows up that I don’t want, no big deal. It’s already gone. The Law is real, and works flawlessly.

Once I became aware of where I was missing the mark and corrected my missteps, everything came to me effortlessly.

Hence why I’m here. I feel moved to share these powerful truths as far and wide as I can.

Because sadly there is a plethora of misleading or incomplete content about manifesting out there. Some of these teachers may mean well, but there are others who are just looking to make a buck off of people who are in a bad place and desperate to change their life.

Either case, we’ve got all sorts of vague, conflicting and confusing information when it comes to manifesting. With that, we don’t get our desired results.

If this has been the case for you, despair not. As I said earlier, the Law is real and works perfectly every time. You are a powerful creator who can manifest anything you wish for.

With that said, I’m going to share the top five reasons you’re having trouble manifesting your desires, and how to correct them so you can easily and effortlessly create the life of your dreams.

Mistake #5 – You’re Constantly Researching and Reading Instead of Applying

This mistake is a sneaky one, and I can say with a good amount of confidence that most of us were guilty of this when we were new to manifesting. When learning about a new subject, it’s natural to want to research and get your hands on as much material as possible. Because there’s so much out there to learn, and you want to make sure you’re doing it correctly, right?

Well, that’s the problem. You Google “manifestation techniques” and watch 104587942 videos on YouTube. You browse through every Facebook group and Reddit form, just to make sure there isn’t a technique out there you may have missed or important information you may have looked over.

But you never really put these teachings to the test.

Deep down you may be skeptical, even fearful to try in case it doesn’t work and the disappointment that would follow. Or you’re desperate to see if there’s a faster, better, more magical method out there that is just waiting to be discovered.

I’m here to tell you right now to put that notion to bed. The only thing that is necessary is complete and total self-conviction that what you desire is already yours. You must firmly believe that you have what you desire and that you are living that desired reality now.

I tell you from personal experience that this works, but we are the operant power. It does not operate itself. You may have heard this law by the hearing of the ear and read of it in a book, but do you know that the law works from experience? Have you put it to the test? Have you proved it? If you have, then you can speak with an authority, which was not yours prior to the proving. May I tell you: through the use of this law you are completely set free.

Moving forward, promise yourself that you will do the following without fail:

One, define what you want.

Two, conjure up an imaginal scene which implies that you already have your desire. Where would you be? What would you be doing? Who else would be there with you? How would it feel to be that person that has your desire?

Three, bring that scene into your imagination while falling asleep and loop that scene in first person, feeling yourself in that scene, until you fall asleep.

Repeat these steps each night as you fall asleep, until you are satisfied in knowing that the seed has been planted and your desire is already yours. That scene you imagined will appear in your external world.

That’s it.

Be ye doers of the word, and not just hearers only. You have nothing to lose and literally everything to gain.

Mistake #4 – You’re Conditioning Your Desire

Our subconscious mind is the creator of everything we experience. All of your beliefs, assumptions, expectations and inner convictions are accepted and impressed onto our subconscious, which then creates our experience in the 3D. The only thing we need to do is to define what we want, then create an imaginal scene that implies that we have our desire, that what we desire is already ours. 

Bring that imaginal scene into your mind and live that scene every night as you drift off to sleep. Then through your waking hours, walk with the conviction that you are the person you desire to be, or have the thing you desire to have.

That’s it.

Once we feel ourselves in our imaginal scene, experiencing our desires as if we already have them, there’s nothing left to do. It is then our subconscious mind which takes these imaginal scenes and refracts them out into our external reality.

Alas, there are some that feel our desires are “too big” or cannot fathom how on earth they can move into that state. They try to “figure out a way” to acquire their desires that makes reasonable sense instead of living in the end of already having it. Or worse, they may deny their desired state outright because they don’t see it as “feasible” or “possible”.

The thing is, your conscious mind is incredibly limited. It cannot comprehend all the infinite number of ways in which your desire could be brought to you.

The subconscious mind knows ways which we do not and could not understand. Ways to bring us to our desire that we cannot consciously conceive. All you are asked to do is live in the end, in that desired state, and know it is already yours to experience.

Do not overcomplicate this! You do not need to know the ‘how’ a thing will appear in your world, that is not your job. Trust that the power of God within you will bring you anywhere you desire to go, and it will.

Do not be anxious or concerned as to the results. They will follow just as surely as day will follow night. Look upon your desires – all of them – as the spoken word of God, and every word or desire a promise. The reason most of us fail to realize our desires is we are constantly conditioning them. Do not condition your desire. Just accept it as it comes to you. Give thanks for it to the point that you are grateful for already receiving it – then go about your way in peace.

Mistake #3 – You’re Not Minding Your Inner Conversations

Why am I not manifesting

I was certainly guilty of this one when I first began to apply the Law. For those that may be applying SATS nightly (imagining in the State Akin to Sleep) and you’re not seeing any results, be mindful of this detrimental mistake.

Your inner conversations (or mental diet, as it’s sometimes referred to) is directly linked to the state that you are currently dwelling in. And if those mental tapes are playing the opposite of what you desire (Ie acknowledging lack when you’re trying to manifest wealth), you will continue to experience that which you do not want.

It’s not enough to imagine at night for an hour, then go about the rest of your waking hours playing out the same negative mental tapes that have kept you in an unwanted state. You must be consciously aware of the thoughts and conversations you are telling yourself throughout the day.

This is where self-observation steps in. Be aware of the thoughts that go through your mind throughout the day. If anything appears that is undesirable or does not line up with what you want to experience, shut it down. Affirm to yourself that you are now the person you aspire to be, and that’s final.

Be stubborn and firm when it comes to those inner conversations. By doing so, you will discover that your new assumptions and positive mental diet will soon harden into fact.

A man’s mental conversations attracts his life. As long as there is no change in his inner talking, the personal history of the man remains the same. To attempt to change the world before we change our inner talking is to struggle against the very nature of things. Man can go round and round in the same circle of disappointments and misfortunes, not seeing them as caused by his own negative inner talking, but as caused by others.

Mistake #2 – You Keep Reacting to or Acknowledging Your Outside Circumstances

So this one does take a bit of assertion to become a habit. As human beings, we are all prone to reaction because we believe that what our physical senses tell us is real. We were brought up to believe that your outside circumstances are factual and set in stone. So whenever we experience something unpleasant, we tend to have a negative reaction.

We need to get out of this habit. Pronto.

Because whatever we react to, we’re going to create more of. When you react to something, or acknowledge its existence, you are giving your consent for that experience to play out in your life. And if we aren’t careful, we will find ourselves in a negative feedback loop for as long as it takes for us to break it (ie stop acknowledging it).

So how do we stop ourselves from reacting to unpleasant circumstances?

Repeat after me: Circumstances don’t matter.

One more time for the people in the back: CIRCUMSTANCES. DON’T. MATTER.

Because your imagination is 10000% as real as your outside world. In fact, whatever you imagine or assume to be true or assume to happen will always precede your experience in your 3D world.

Any and everything you are experiencing in your outside world is just a shadow of your past beliefs and assumptions. It’s not real. It’s yesterdays thoughts, old news, old garbage. Pay no mind to your physical circumstances.

No Mind, No Matter

This one can be a lot to wrap your head around, so take a moment to digest what you just read. But you’ll find through your practice and testing of the Law that your imagination is 100% real, and that whatever you imagine WILL show up in your 3D world.

In fact, we are always doing this all the time! You’re manifesting 24/7, always have been and always will be. Most of us just aren’t consciously aware that we are doing so.

So anytime something unwanted pops up, learn to observe rather than react. Remind yourself that your past thoughts and beliefs created the unwanted scenario, and that whatever it is will soon be replaced by our desired experience.

Put it to the test, make this one a practice until it becomes habit. You are the God of your reality, and you pull the strings here. Never forget that.

Mistake #1: Doubt

Saved the biggest one for last. Doubt is the #1 killer of your manifestations.

You may stumble across manifesting and Neville’s teachings, and on the surface you may believe it to be true. You may understand the concepts at the logical level and begin to apply them in your life. But the moment something unpleasant happens, or if it’s taking too long for your manifestations to appear, you find yourself frustrated and doubting the validity of any of this.

Remember: what you assume to be true, will be true in your reality. So if you are doubting that the Law works, or that you are questioning your ability to manifest, that will be the experience that shows up in your 3D reality. You will manifest the Law not working or the inability to manifest.

If you are constantly looking for validation or a “sign” your manifestation is coming, you are not living in the end. You are acknowledging that you are lacking your desire, that you do not have it. By doing so, you will not obtain it.

I see this one All. The. Time. I hear it when talking to clients, I see it on forums and in comments everywhere.

“Why am I not manifesting?”

“What am I doing wrong?”

“Am I just broken?”

“Is all of this just BS?”

Be Still And Know That I Am God


Do you keep acknowledging that your SP is ignoring you? Do you keep acknowledging that 3rd party? Do you continually acknowledge that you are lacking what you desire to have, or what you desire to be? Do you keep feeding that victim mentality?

These are all actions that stem from a place of doubt. You are doubting your God-given power, the power to create anything you want in this whole entire world.

When you doubt your power, you will keep spinning around and around in these negative feedback loops. Because you are feeding these beliefs and assumptions to your subconscious mind, which will then give you that reality as your experience.

Take a deep breath. In, and out.

Whenever you catch yourself doubting that you ARE the person you desire to be, take a step back. Go within. Shut out the senses. Go back to living in the end of your desire. Feel yourself in that state, experiencing your desire right now. Do this until you begin to feel that satisfaction, that knowing that what you have just imagined is already yours.

If you can keep in this state, without falter, you will manifest anything you want. Full stop.

Building Your Faith – Put It To The Test!

So how do we eradicate these 5 mistakes? Build your faith in the Law.

You must believe, without any hint of doubt, that you are a powerful creator. You must know this to be true in the deepest part of your being.

But how on earth do we build that kind of faith?

Test it.

Test the Law on everything. Big things, small things, everything. Whenever you want to strengthen that conviction, that knowing that you are the Operant Power, just imagine a thing and declare it to be yours. Make notes of your decrees. When they appear in your world, remind yourself that you deliberately put them there.

Test it with anything you can think of. Imagine receiving a free cup of coffee, or a compliment from a stranger, or a call from an old friend, or winning an online contest. Test it, test it, test it.

Every time you see a manifestation come to pass, your faith will grow. You will grow to be bolder and stronger with each passing day. Keep building that faith until there is 0% doubt in your mind in your ability to manifest your dream life.

Because here’s the secret: you are already manifesting and creating. You always have and you always will. There’s nothing “new” to learn here. So why not create a life of abundance instead of poverty, a life of fulfillment instead of lack, a life of beauty instead of despair?
